Steve has mastered every nuance of craftsmanship and the quality of his work is noticeable in every miter, moulding and detail. His dedication to furthering the craft can really only be attributed to a love of woodworking, a deep appreciation for historical restorations and a natural talent to work with tools. Steve is a people-person and likes to make the clients involved educating them in the process. Humble and self-effacing, he quietly takes pride in his work and finds personal satisfaction when the project is completed to perfection. His manual dexterity, patience and perfectionist streak also shines in his favorite hobby, as Steve loves to rebuild and restore antique historical cars.

Vern’s last name could already give you an indication that his love for woodworking goes way back in his family. The son of a traditional Master Carpenter, he grew up helping his father as an apprentice doing many tasks that involved manual dexterity, the careful use of machinery and always being alert to improve the process. He truly loves his craft and particularly enjoys the diversity of each project and seeing the transformation of the room into a homey and personable environment. Vern is very close to his family and friends and has a great sense of humor. Clients find his even-tempered nature and great listening skills very soothing, and he often finds himself acting as a counselor helping clients to bear the stress of the remodeling process.

Christopher is incredibly gifted and talented with his hands. A cabinet maker by trade, he brings a different approach and higher attention to detail in the installation of our custom cabinetry. His background is very helpful, because in doing custom woodworking, you are constantly seeking a finer curve, a crisper joint, a better jig. Quiet and reserved, Chris enjoys toiling with hand tools to craft fine custom furniture. Chris is the lead craftsman for all the projects we are installing inside of the luxury Residences at Black Rock, a private gated golf community in Hingham.

After earning an Associate’s Degree from Boston College in 1981, Jody furthered his education with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology in 1986 from the University of Massachusetts. Jody moved out of the state and worked in the woodworking field for over 18 years. He joined our firm in 1999 upon returning to Massachusetts to finally marry his long-time sweetheart.
