Mercedes was
educated both in Europe and the United States, and she has earned
three master degrees. Her valuable insights are drawn not only from an
impressive educational background but also from her active involvement in
the business arena and entrepreneurial spirit.
Whether
working as corporate lawyer, a financial advisor or a marketing specialist
in the U.S.
market, Mercedes has been recognized for her skills on research, strategic
planning and communication. As an independent marketing consultant,
Mercedes authored the book "How to Be a Smart Marketer", she
conducted and interpreted in-depth market research for several companies
and some of her work has been published in trade magazines such as Kitchen
& Bath Business and Kitchen & Bath Design News.
She has also
developed thriving business programs, as well as seminars to meet the needs
of different audiences and organizations such as the Women’s
Conference, the NKBA, the Merchandise Mart of Chicago, Boston Design
Center, and WIT &
Co. Ltd, among others.
